This book would be a perfect gift for baby showers, adoption celebrations, birthdays, Gotcha Days and weddings of blended families. This is the perfect book to share whilst giving lots of warm hugs and words of affirmation as the story is read. The wonderful illustrations are full of emotion and Grace is an adorable little character that you just want to hug and say everything will be okay little one.
Grace settles into her new life and is thankful to God that He has provided her with the acceptive family she longs for. At first she feels isolated and alone because no other sheep are present on the farm but eventually she learns that all the other farm animals, and the kind man and woman and their baby, love and accept her as their own. This debut children's book is about a couple who bring home a lamb to White Cottage Farm and how that little lamb, named Grace, finds comfort and love in her forever home. Families come in many different shapes and sizes and the glue that holds a family together is.
This is a sweet story with rhyming text and a heartfelt message that home is anyplace that is filled with love.
