For more about Laura Ellen, please visit her website at Dianne White is the award-winning author of BLUE ON BLUE (Beach Lane Books/ S&S), illustrated by Caldecott medalist, Beth Krommes, GOODBYE BRINGS HELLO, illustrated by Daniel Wiseman (Houghton Mifflin Harcourt), and WHO EATS ORANGE?, illustrated by Robin Page (Beach Lane Books). She’s been a member of SCBWI since 2000 and currently serves as the YA and MG PAL Coordinator for SCBWI-AZ. Diagnosed with juvenile macular degeneration as a teen, she drew upon her own experiences with vision loss to write her YA thriller BLIND SPOT, an emotional and suspenseful page-turner. She has a MA in Children’s Literature and has worked as an assistant editor for a literary magazine and as a teacher in both Language Arts and Special Education. Laura Ellen writes YA suspense and thrillers from her home in Scottsdale, Arizona. This free event will be moderated by PAL coordinators Laura Ellen and Dianne White. This event will spotlight Authors, who will introduce themselves and their books, and provide attendees the opportunity to get answers to their general publishing questions.
