Edie may be immature sometimes but she’s a tough heroine. Despite of the age gap, they were great together. Trent and Edie were good characters but they’re not my favorite. Talk about the forbidden romance and sexual tension between them. Jordan is a racist, manipulative old man and Val is a petty, shallow golddigger. The antagonists - Jordan and Val (Luna’s mom) - stirred it up pretty well. The story was cliché but entertaining and I enjoyed the drama. It took several tries to get back into it. The kind you want to grab snacks and tea and anticipate what happens next. The story didn’t immediately grab my attention. Working as an intern has a purpose to help her father bring down Trent. Trent and her father were both business partners and rivals. She have a mental baggage and trying to keep herself together. She’s carefree, sporty and rebellious but she had to play a good daugter and follow her father’s rules. Having a serious relationship was his least priority but he have casual flings every now and then until Edie Van Der Zee.Įdie was Jordan Van Der Zee’s daughter.

No wonder she’s aloof and distant from him. He’s too formal and business-like for her. Though he’s busy at work and providing what’s best for her, I wish they had more father-daughter bonding so he can understand her likes and dislikes better. His daughter was his number one priority and admittedly he quite sucked at parenting.

He’s a single father to his four year old daughter, Luna and she’s mute since her mother left them. Out of the four guys, Trent was the first one to become a family man. He’s a successful man and established a firm along with his best friends Jaime, Baron and Dean. All those hadrships paid off through his perseverance and discipline. He came from a poor family and while studying, he have to get jobs to pay his tuition and school supplies. Unlike the first three Four HotHoles, Trent Rexroth didn’t grew up with a silver spoon. But a scandal is what we’re going to give them. The writing isn’t just on the wall, it’s inked on my soul.Ī scandal is the last thing my family needs. Trent Rexroth is going to break my heart. I’m just a kid to him and his enemy’s daughter.Īnd I am…feeling. He’s a single dad and my father’s business partner. When he does, my stomach flips and my world tilts on its axis. When he does, his words aren’t meant for me. Hard, cold and calculated, he rarely speaks.
